It doesn't beat Command and Conquer 3 World Builder :P When opening that you don't see anything of the program for about 10 minutes while it sikes itself up taking with it about the same amount of RAM (maybe more as I got bored of waiting) with minimal effort :P

Why on earth are you editing such a big image anyway?

It doesn't beat Command and Conquer 3 World Builder :P When opening that you don't see anything of the program for about 10 minutes while it sikes itself up taking with it about the same amount of RAM (maybe more as I got bored of waiting) with minimal effort :P

Mainly because if you take from the raw image you get much better quality when you shrink it yourself.

Ohhh, it's a raw image... I didn't think they caused that many problems? Or is the image from something that isn't a conventional automatic/DSLR camera? Then again, I've only ever played with the one raw image :P

No no by raw I mean original size. No problems at all, just a wee bit slow.

Uses 1.69GB on the my MacBook in Photoshop with ~ 1GB free memory as well.

Nice image though.
