i am aiming for 65 mage, i have 58 magic atm i would like to know a good place to train and what to train on , helpful if you say which spell to use. i am a f2p at the moment. Thanks
You could try high alching. You'll lose profit unless you make the items yourself, but you get around 55k/hour exp I think.
Another method would be to use the spell Crumble Undead on skeletons in Varrock Sewer. It's a cheap and quite fast method of training magic.
You can also use the telekenitic grab spell to get the gold ore in the vault in west Varrock Bank, then sell the ore for a 100gp profit, although it would be pretty slow exp.

if i do arching what sort of items dont lose that much cash?
I have plenty of nature runes already.
For F2P, the last time I heard, it was best to alch either adamant platebodies or runescape square shields, as you only lose 30gp per alch.
However, prices change, so I'd suggest you look up prices yourself, and find the best thing to alch. Or you can make the item yourself and make a profit.

Thanks, i was thinking about making steel plates, i guess you ment rune sqs when you said runescape sqs :)
Yeah, I did.
I've heard that steel platebodies are very popular to alch as well, but again, you'll have to check prices.
