I've tried everything to remove this small scratch like line of broken pixels on the ipod screen, it's still under warantee is it worth sending back to apple?
Anyone had this and fixed it without sending it back??

What type of iPod is it? And if there is a scratch down the line where the pixels are stuck then Apple probably won't honour the warranty.

Right, seeing as there's a scratch, some of these tips might not work.
Turn the iPod off, get a TIGHTLY WOVEN CLOTH (to avoid scratching it any more), apply a light bit of moisture, apply pressure on the cloth with 1 finger, over the dead pixels, and while doing this, switch the iPod on. Remove the pressure and it might have fixed it.
Another method that has apparantly worked, is getting your iPod, going into Settings, then General, then Brightness. Slide it completely down and completely up a few times, then turn autobrightness on and off. Then, go to your desired settings
Next attempt, get your iPod, plug it into a power source (plug it into your PC), then visit http://www.ebaspace.com/iphone-app/fix.html using Safari. Leave your iPod for 6 hours on this site.
As a last resort - Restore your iPod, then hold Power and Reset for 10 seconds, ignoring the Slide to Power Off, wait for the iPod to reset
If all else fails, call Apple, but if there's a scratch there, they probably won't cover it.
Hope this has helped.

None of them work.
My waranty doesn't cover scratches but there is a programme that i can load onto the ipod that will bugger up the settings and apple will replace my ipod if i send it back, anyone heard of that programme?

They won't cover it if you've put a program on it, either.

If they found out you jailbreak it they won't cover it...
