Processor Help

Hi,

I'm ordering the parts for my new PC tomorrow and the processor I was looking at was the Q8200. I was told on another forum that I'd be better getting a beefier Dual Core rather than a Quad Core with slower core speeds, what would be best considering I'll be doing no gaming at all and mainly video encoding etc rather than gaming.

Video encoding - The quad will blow the dual core out of the water, no matter what the clock speed is.
