My brother has and alot of people I know. A lot of people say they are one of the best cars made and each version is better than the last so ye good car! :D
i've driven a white celica gt-four which was impressive, but if you're looking at 2002-03 ish you'd be after the newer celicas which aren't really to my taste.. seem a bit poncey apart from the celica gt, which i likes :)

Is something id like :)
They are good cars, but for the same sort of money you could be driving one of these beauties...

Obviously not one like that, that has had quite a few grand spent on it. Nevertheless, a basic Hyundai Coupe would be nice.

top one is horrendously disgusting and in all fairness the owner deserves a slap for what he's done to the car.. bottom one isn't much nicer what with it being standard and all but i'd much prefer a celica to a hyundai coupe.. toyota's engines are sweet..

Right spoke to my parents about it, i have about 2500 saved up and my current cars around £3000 maybe a bit lower. never the less im defiantly wanting a 200X most likely in the rage of 65000 miles and maybe 02 plate
Heres a 2000 plate but its £3500 but im not entirely sure will my insurance shoot up?

Not bad, looks to be in good condition, leather seats are nice along with the alloy rims. Miles aren't too high for a 2000, mom's car is an 07 and it has almost 100k.. are you selling your car now?
IIRC the 1.8 N/A's are group 14 insurance so yes, yes it will shoot up from a focus.

Well il have like £2000 left if i baught that 2000 car, i doubt insurance for that 1.8 will be 3500 for insurance. so i could proberly do it. Im hopefully wanting a 02 at 65k miles but obviously i need to wait till iv passed my tests

lol, think again. My car's group 13 insurance and I pay £3,200 per year as a named driver or it's £2800 if I pay it in one.

Right, so why would this car be so expensive to insure likee
i'm paying £3200 on my golf. The celica in question is one group higher and i've been driving for a year. (gets renewed next month, so it goes down.) Celica's got 10bhp more than the golf standard too, the remap's not declared. it doesn't go on engine size, it goes on power of the car, your area (i live in a low risk area too) which you live in, general sportyness of the car, trim spec, how easy it is to break into, safety rating etc etc

With 1 year off no claims on a motorbike it only took like £120 off :(
most insurance companies won't take no claims off if you've got a moped or something you can drive before you're 17. some will take a small bit off.
