Paul Hart is facing the axe at Portsmouth with new owner Ali Al-Faraj keen on a bigger name in charge.

Portsmouth's newest owner - described by chief executive Peter Storrie as "a billionaire" - wants to fund an overhaul at the club.

It comes just weeks after 12 players were brought in to replace stars sold in the club's summer fire sale.

Al-Faraj's lawyer, Mark Jacob, said yesterday: "There is going to be substantial investment.

I quite liked Paul Hart. He's an Ok manager but he's just not got the results he needs. Pompey are performing great aswell but just short of goals.

Sorry for double post ran out of editing time.
Avram Grant is holding talks with Pompey about re-joining

Avram grant is a good manager to have, but Paul had to sell alot of his players and now hasn't had very long to decide on his best players, nevermind finding a system that works, or making it gel.

There is more chance of flying a kite on the moon than Pompey staying up this season.

Its harsh on him because he's had to sell all his best players. But losing 6/7 matches on the trot is kind of hard to forget about. He needs a chance, but I really can't see him getting one. It would be a shame to see Portsmouth go down now, as they are a great club.
