Ok call me sad but i went to a red dwarf convention this weekend for red dwarf. if you don't know i am a avid red dwarf watcher have bee nsince i was a kid so i was as giddy as anything when i got to meet the actors.
to cut it short it was a great weekend.
but the reason i made a post was because fo the auction right at the end of the weekend. in this there where props scripts costumes ect. and my dad promised to get me somthing from it. we ended up getting one of the cannaries uniforms from series 8 for £90 with backpack boots and for some reason 2 pairs of gloves hehe. and a certificate of authentisity. when i go and look on the prop store of london the selling price is just shy of £400. similar with other items. one of the cats costumes from body swap went for £250 and seems like it could sell for anything upto £800 and 5 "original" scripts i say that in the term original because they were the first typed out drafts sold for just £80. god only knows what they would sell for.
so i nshrot it was an amazingly cheap priced auction and was just a little shocked.
