Well,

Somebody has just gone straight through my garage in their car,
it was a new Merc as well.

I have no heating or hot water for at least a month ive been told :(

Car is wrecked, it was an elderly lady, so we think she pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.


Why did he crash? was he drunk? I'd be so anoyed if someone did that to me.

thats what my great gran did and crashed into a bridge. then had to have 2/3 toes amputated and died a few weeks later:(:(

Hope you've got garage door insurance :P
You could go get a little plug in radiator from any Wilkinsons shop for really cheap, I have one in my bedroom - they're fantastic!

and i think their should be tests like every years for driving... would reduce loads of accidents.

Oh, and for the people asking, we are fully insured,
the lady who did it is loaded with cash and money is no matter to her (thank god)
so we can claim everything inside the garage back and a new garage and we don't pay anything, not a bad deal!

It was a electronic organ which was at least 20 years old, it has been in the family for about 19 years, its worth about $2000

No, the whole garage is separate, only one wall of the garage is connected to the house and it isn't damaged

Beautiful Mercedes I must say, it still looks good even with a pile of bricks and a game of scrabble on top of it :P

What about the structure of the garage, did you have to get it checked out or something and is it safe? Looks like some pretty bad damage that's for sure, cheers for the photos and sorry to hear about your misfortune of no heating and no scrabble.

We need to have a Surveyor around and he is coming tomorrow at 10am, he will decide what needs to be done to the garage structure and if we need a complete new garage or just replace the broken walls.
