Okay, right I'm really good friends with these people who goto the same school I do and are in my year, it's always the six of us, everywhere we go to lunch, town, out, somebodys house etc. There's this girl that's in our class and she's never with us outside of school, because she can never come out due to her mother being overprotective and baby-ing her, this girl is practically still around 11 and not the age she really is (16). She doesn't drink, smoke etc. Has no interest in anything the people I hang around with do. She doesn't really have many friends, so clings onto us at lunch times, so she's always clueless to what goes on and doesn't talk, when she does talk it's something really **** and boring. Everytime we try avoid her, she pops up out of nowhere. Like, I feel bad for her, because she never knows what's going on but she can also be REALLY annoying. Like, I don't see why she'd want to be around us, seeing as she has nothing in common with us and we most likely talk about nothing that's interesting to her. All I really want to know is how to actually stop her from clinging onto us because it's really creepy at times :S

andddddd.

i have this other friend. rightt. so everyone calls her a ***********, because she is rly. she always has a story for anything someone says and goes on about these little 'relationships' she's had with these boys who clearly do not exist :S she always makes up things like ''oh my gran's in hospital, she had a stroke'' like that's happened loads of times.. also she's said before that she got sun stroke over in spain but they didn't tell her mum 'cos they knew she'd be mad so yeah i don't see how that's possibe. like, i think she's pretty awesome, but i never know when she's lying or telling the truth. idk whether i should say it to her, but i really don't wanna lose her as a friend 'cos she's pretty kl and stuffs.

soz 4 so much writing lulz [:

On the first 1 maybe you should tell her to not follow you around or go to a different place at lunch and breaks and 2nd person if you are sick of the lies tell her that you don't want to know about it or risk your friendship and put her straight, maybe she'd eventually come round?

First situation is exactly like mine, apart from my other friends like his boring stories. He always comes in with quiet little insults whenever someone says something.
He used to do this to me until I punched him for calling my mum a dog.

Yeah, thing with the first girl is she always insults you and laughs at it, but everyone just stares at her like :S if you ***** about someone to her, she runs off and says it to the person INFRONT of you.

Init that's bare good, I can't be friends with people who are too sensitive to take the jokes we come up with. Or fat people but that's another matter.

Woman with the problems: 1st girl needs to just be told. Ignore her obviously when she starts chatting like literally turn around n ting and just tell her to shut up. Bullying really is the only way otherwise she thinks it's ok. 2nd ******* idk just take everything she says with a pinch of salt, if she's alright and you like her then just ride it out she'll grow up one day

put yourself in the firsts girls position.. she seems like a bit of a freak, and clearly you are her only mates, i feel quite sorry for her, she's not really doing any harm is she? it could be worse, she could start hanging round with you after school and stuff, i'd say just leave it, and let her have her stupid imput!

as with the second, i had a friend like that, its so annoying, especially when its blatent lies, just confront her the next time she does it!

You don't let the freak hang out with you, it's social suicide. They're called freaks for a reason.

Ignoring irritating people normally works, yes it's mean but, only solution tbh.

As for people who lie constantly, don't outright accuse them of lying, even if you're certain they are it's probably not worth pointing it out as they're more than likely to just continue the lie or claim you're wrong.

You need to subtlety or jokingly bring up some of the crap they've come out with. Someone in my form goes on about how his grand-dad beat the crap out of people with a fire extinguisher, we deliberately make things like that a running joke and he soon enough found it funny and stopped with all the lies. I've seen things like that work with other people too.

How long is it generally before you give up once people start ignoring you? Just wondering so we can have actual stats on this

Online? I don't.

Irl? A few minutes? I have enough friends thanks. If they ignore me for more than say 3 minutes they aren't worth my time.

also, I fail to see how I'm a freak.
