In a staff blog written by Kawu (http://www.habbo.de/home/Kawu) over here (http://www.habbo.de/groups/STAFF-BLOG-42/discussions/94228/id) there are mentions of the end of Beta, Habboween and Christmas.
In the blog Kawu said this (translated from German):
"Next Update / End of Beta: The Demise of the old Habbo Hotel is definitely a lot of pain, but there are some nice little things that you will always remember the old Habbo"
So this means two things which we already guessed, in r39 we can expect to see the Shockwave client gone, a new Hotel View and the Bye Bye Big Hand furni.
He also mentions Habboween but nothing we didn't already know.
Then he goes on to say this (translated from German and cropped to include only important stuff):
"Christmas: The most exciting topic! Christmas is coming inexorably closer. [...] Last year rocked the 26 penguins by our hotel, this year it will reach a little cozier. The advent calendar last year was not so many really perceived as such, especially since it "only" gave penguins. For all those who loved the advent calendar 2007, it would be interesting to note that there will be a calendar this year. In what form, what this involves, and what to concerts, surprises, contests play everything on you, THE I tell you yet."
My guess is that we will again have an Advent calandar but instead of just getting useless stuff like penguins we can expect to receive useable stuff? Truthfully I liked 06 Christmas (in AU) better.
