On o2 site it says unlimited internet data free for 12 months, does this mean i can go on the internet anywhere for free and can upload any amount of pictures?

No, it will have a fair usage policy f like 2GB or something, also to keep the internet you have to top up like £10 a month or something.

IMO? You're best off waiting till it comes out on Orange and Vodafone.

Just done a bit of research, there is no fair use policy as o2 thought if it ws called unlimited it should be unlimited. The unlimited is free for the first 12 months.

Fair Use policy doesn't count on the iPhones contract.

And Yes Jack I already told you!!! :P You do get free internet for the first 12 months, then after that you will have an OPTION to either pay for it or cancel it.

Basic web browsing isn't going to affect it at all. They're only pick up on it and punish you if you were downloading excessively on your phone... which he won't be.

He won't use anywhere near 3GB by just web browsing forums and stuff, I'd be surprised if he surpassed 500mb.

I don't think you will ever reach the fair usage limit if there is one, Ive had my Iphone 3G since launch day and in the Usage in settings Ive only used

Sent (Uploaded) 68.0MB
Received (Downloaded) 723MB

And I use it a fair bit, I do use wifi when at home though for a faster connection, and using wifi wont contribute to any o2 fair usage limits.

Don't be fooled by the features, you can take a picture on nearly any phone and upload it to Facebook nowadays
