I like brown shoes but some clubs are really picky and won't let you in

Could work, I have a nice pair of Versace chinos I sometimes wear out but it can look funny if you don't wear the right stuff with it, or if the club itself is very casual like a lot around here are

Can often get away with just blacktrainers, they just see the black and assume theyre shoes.

I generally wear that wherever I go :p

i usually wear some skinny/slim jeans, nice polo/t-shirt/shirt haaa. and some smart shoes, depending on if it's absolutely freezing and with what i'm wearing, i'll sometimes wear a cardy. with shoes it's best to just wear smart ones, why risk ruining a good night out by getting turned away when you're wearing trainers/plimsolls or w/e.

Girls get away with anything. I've never seen a girl turned away because of what she was wearing.

nice pair of jeans and smart shoes (plimps would work, i don't wear them as they look ridiculous in size 14 lol), and you can blag anything for a top.. a nice polo with a cardi or just a shirt will do.
