99 Mining

[MJJ]

I'm going for 99 Mining by mining gold in the Rock Caverns. It's good experience, especially using a pack yak and dragon pickaxe which I will be using, and it's also good cash.

If I manage to get 99 Mining through gold, I'll probably end up smelting the ores for 99 Smithing as well.

I'll be posting the levels I get here.

By the looks of things that new cavern is quick mining exp?
Can you tell if the d pickaxe is faster than a rune one?

Yeah, it's really good experience, and I think the dragon pickaxe is slightly faster.. I know some people have said that you get like 5k experience extra per hour at Rock Caverns when using it, so I guess if you were going for 99 Mining or something, it would be worth buying it.

Thanks, although it'll probably be closer to 40M profit since I'm going to be smelting the ores into bars first for Smithing.

I've been farming my own herbs recently for Herblore, and managed to get this:

Haven't been able to mine much because of school and exams, but the exp is coming slowly.

Thanks, I get around 45-50k/hour exp but I've heard some people get upto 60k with a lava titan.

You're crazy. Mining is probably the second most boring 99 after runecrafting? Ignoring slayer as the slowest exp.
