Well I am a rather large booby! Bought a lovely new graphics card (ATI 4870 was £90 on ebuyer, only 512mb of memory but idc :D), went to put it in and realised my PSU doesn't have the right cable for it. Thought about getting a splitter for it, went to read the quick start guide and it said "don't use a splitter, if you need a splitter your PSU is not good enough to run it anyway". Which it isn't, its only 400W.

Which brings me to now! The box says I need a minimum 500W PSU, recommends 600W but I figured I'd futureproof myself and get as high as is reasonably affordable. The rest of the components in there are bog standard stuff so the GPU will probably be the thing that needs the highest wattage. I have no idea about PSUs except I know you shouldn't go cheap on them because they fry your components :D

Can someone recommend a nice PSU for me, preferably from ebuyer? Needs to be the best value PSU that'll do the job safely, not bothered about anything else.

Thanks in advance, +rep to helpful answers :)
