but there was a comp ages ago to make new ones... have you forgot :S:S

or is this not happening? cause the black skin needs a new one dunno about rest tho

I think if you posted it in the graphic forums and made it more personal to those who actually have the skill and ability to create a banner decent enough for Habbox to use then you'd get far more entries. Offer VIP if you didn't originally or at least some sort of incentive. Follow those two things, I will personally make sure you get more than two entries. Oh, I'm such a selfless guy :)

lets party, 16k, woooooo. only like 8th person to get that many and jin cheated on his clone :D nobody has joined since me and got more posts. #1 addict ftw.

The graphics department has only just got a manager.
Its not really had no guide in the last 6 months or so and has only had the odd job that Jin/Mr.OSH have got to give to us. Aswell as that, there have only been 2 or 3 designers and they werent that active to do much. Hopefully you will see alot more new graphics around the place. The first of which was the new HxL banner and there have been several new around and more being generated.

So ye, I think the competition was a good idea to get people involved with things like that but with such a poor turn out with that and other competitions like the Habbox.com layout/skin they dont really work. So ye, maybe it is just a job for the graphics team :)

Face it, they're never going to get changed. I gave up and so should everyone else.
