How many computers do you own?

Another techy poll, how many PC's/Laptops etc do you currently have in your possession (working ones only, so doesn't count the ones u scrapped for parts :p)

Ah, yea i probs should have made that clearer :p Since i couldn't really be specific the whole way along after the first few i opted to just use pc as reference to a total amount of pc's (desktops and laptops) :p


I also, quickly calculated my own - 8pc's (specs = ram/proccessor/hdd -o/s most common to least commonly used)

Good question, i was thinking myself since i'm out at uni, but since alot of people are still living with parents i guess its alot less clear cut "/ I'd say maybe include parents ones if there primarily used by you, otherwise just directly yours ones mayhaps - for the poll at least -you can post both if you prefer tho, but up to you on the posting "/

If includeing other peoples tho, i can add another desktop and laptop gleened from my gf as i use em alot :p

So 9 in the household :) We dumped alot of computers a while ago, which were sort of working, just not needed anymore. They were XPs I think.

ermmmm my dad has a laptop. my step-mum has a laptop. i have a laptop. my sister has a laptop. we have a spare laptop my other sisters use. my other sister has a laptop. we have a mac in the study. then we have two desktops downstairs. i have used all of these within the last month or so probably.

Hmm going by the stats on here, i can get myself up at around 18,
In addition to the 8 that are directly mine

years later on, HDD fails, used as excuse to buy new family PC
HDD replaced in old PC, I get it for my room
years later, I get the old family PC that replaced the one I'm using

I wouldnt mind having few computers but why have more than 4/5 desktops when you got a family of a 4/5 rofl. You only need a max of two desktops for yourself.

Then there's my Omnia running Windows Mobile and my iPod touch if you wanna count those as computers (they're faster than the P4 box :P).

We have five, but yeah. We have the "main" laptop, which replaced our old "main" laptop. Another one for my stepmum which was a birthday present for her, one laptop which was given to us because someone no longer wanted it, and my ****box which i bought for $50 because i wanted to try linux and have my own pc when i was like 15?
