As stated above about safety programs this is kinda of like it but everything will be out of date and theres newer programs/versions available (ofc as it was posted in january 05 :P) so should be updated to include newer programs and newer versions of said programs

Needs to be updated as theres more abbreviations used now and it still includes like a definition of a hobba which doesn't really need to be there as newer members won't have heard of hobbas so no need to confuse them explaining what they are when they no longer exist.

I think we have an Anti-Virus and Firewall thread in the tech section somewhere, it could be duped to there.

Also windows one care doesn't exist any more, Microsoft released a free version instead.

Me and the old HxHD team actually redid the whole load of guides, consolidated them into one and they were to be published. I don't know why they werent. Maybe the thread should be copied over into the HxHD forum so it can be seen and then you can nitpick it for David and Ben.

Please, if anyone does read over it, feel free to post the inaccuracies as Im sure its been a bit outdated since May. The reason its a bit spaced out and may refer to pictures is because it used to have lots of pictures (which have disappeared cus of that move uploadpicz did or something and I dont have htem on my computer anymore because lets face it, theres a limit to my coolness)

I'm sorry it took so long, should of had this done ages ago. I've:
- Redone the badges guide
- Added to the slang and abbreviations guide
- Added a new guide for helplines
- Removed all but one antivirus guide and added a link to a current AV

If you have more slang to be added, suggestions for current guides or have an idea for a new guide here would be the place to tell us:)

- Edited out 4 posts in Sam's guide that we already had
- Fixed Date (it was late what did you expect:P)
- Checking into getting those images in Sam's guide restored
- When I go on my Windows laptop I'll test all those alt codes:)
