Hello,

I'm looking for suggestions on sections for a forum I am creating, I've owned a forum before (Ultrahabboforum), which was habbo based. Now I'm creating a forum not so much to do with habbo (will include a habbo section) but more general.

So far, I've thought of these sections, which cover Gaming:

-XBOX
-Playstation
Gaming Systems -
-Wii
- PSP
-PC

- Habbo
Online Gaming -
- Runescape

This forum is not just a gaming forum, I'm looking to include a couple of other sections also, to make it more general, and to get members who come to the forum for different things.

I'm looking for suggestions on sections YOU would like to see in a forum, and sections I should add,

Cheers,

Kevin.

PS: I've already purchesed vBulletin 4.0 Publishing suite, and have hosting sorted, so this forum is ready to go.

No offence but it's all become too boring nowadays. There is nothing unique about this kind of site, so people are going to want to head over to a more popular, more varied discussion.

TBH, just some fun things like with smart names, like coding with a nice inviting names. not a lot of rules as well.

I'm not looking for innovative ideas, I'm looking for category's which people would like added to the forum.

That is allready the plan, and is one of the key points of this forum.

Very little rules will be implemented, obvously serious issues will be dealt with but things like cursing and freedom of speech will be aloud (you can express your view weather constructive or non-constructive

Just. A broad chat for teenagers.

But then that has no distinguishing features that sets it apart from everywhere else.

my best advice is to tie the forum with something. Have your own game server or something if it's regarding a specific game more than the others to draw people in and put supporters back out.

Forums on their own never fair that well without something to initially draw the uses.

I have alot of graphics artists coming from a certain forum to join the graphics team, which will make the graphics section lively.

the habbo / runescape section should be very popular also, as I know alot of people who play habbo who would like a forum where they can say whatever they want and not get infracted

Wonderful community that will be. Let them all run rampage. Rules are there for a reason and without the, where would we be today? Your ego bugs me.

It's very apparent that your the type of person that absolutely bums staff and moderators.

Obviously, serious offences will be dealt with, but little things do not matter.

Bullying and racism will not be tolerated

How about a marketplace where members can buy, sell or trade stuff.

I'm selling what my legal rights are regarding a habbo marketplace, where they can buy/sell furniture.

I might put in a real life trading section, to trade goods but I don't think many people would be willing to trade this way
