Probably the best relic of the old Soviet era. Shame that you will no longer be able to take trips there as the buildings are now structurally unstable.

warning: you may not even want to read about it...
but that image of the half moulded body in hanging from the tree in the link is stamped in my eyes :(

There's that thing called Pain Series or something. It's so shocking, I've never seen anything worse :( .
I don't really find #4 scary. Just weird and confusing!

ahhh, i can handle **** like that, i can block pathetic things out, but death is no joke and in all serious in my mind, and i use to have a phobia of skeletons when i was young, and images like that make it crawl back out.

I only clicked it because I wanted to see more regarding it. Maybe I'm just interested in things like that. Bad images though, scary and such a shame for the amount of lives loss there. Very strange place indeed, I do wonder why it's used often though. :S

Wouldn't that be like burying? Or do you mean just getting your body dumped somewhere and left to rot :O

no too dissimilar to an experience with a nudist beach for me :eusa_wall.
I don't think the stephen fry place was as bad as it was the choice of the dead and used for scientific purposes. The forest is creepy because of the haunting emptiness left by the empty shoes and possessions. Says more than the explicit pictures of bodies can ever do.
WHERE'S HABBO HOTEL ON THAT LIST.

Some people just don't like seeing bodies hanging with kin still on them and what ever else. It isn't exactly a nice place to go and visit due to all of the bodies and whatever else you may find in the forest.

It's just a film?
based on a true story was it not?
and the stephen fry thing their was a plot of land somewhere in america where they chose their bodies to decay in nature, you arn't allowed to do it anywhere else. its illegal, but tbh, your dead so all they're going to do is move your body, and thats to their own mis pleasure.

I worked in forensic photography for six months and I, unfortunately, went to many a hanging suicide, but I've never seen a body so skeletonised as a couple in that forest.
