just have to man up liam </3
:D
As Jake said, MAN UP! There isn't much you can do about 'em. Maybe just put a soft bandage on it to prevent it popping, because you don't want that. I got like 1 million blisters in the army and once got a particularly large and unpleasant one on the bottom of my foot when we did like a whole day of drill, it was PAIN, but one of the guys just whacked some zinc tape around it and I got on with it :P.

my toes arn't in a good state to start with lol, they have rock hard skin on :( and the blisters like nipping on that.
And omg you were in the army? whats it like, i was considering joining for experience.
Yeah I was. Basic training was both the worst and best time of my life. Was an amazing experience though. I loved it!

what was the bad bit? the actually training?
i can guess the good bit was the mates.
The mates were a big part. All the guys were really cool. You become best friends instantly, it's all part of the camaraderie... The good parts are also the skills you get, the training which is fun, the laughs and the good times are the best ever.
The crap bits I guess are parts of the training. I mean when you've been marching around all day in boots that aren't broken in, or you have a massive amount of weight on your back whilst tabbing, or if your head gets squashed into the mud because your nose didn't touch the ground when doing push-ups (didn't happen to me, but to someone in my troop)... you think OMG WHAT THE **** HAVE I GOT MYSELF IN TO! But when you've finished doing those things you think are ****, you shower up and have a quick cuppa and a cigarette and you actually feel pretty darn good about it.

tbh, i would take stick from my general, that would let me down in the army, i wouldn't punch him but i'd get the **** up and scream at the ****** for doing it, the army trains you to be hard, not to take **** like that from anyone.
what troop were you in?
and did you do any of them like marathon things they do? and they give you like a banana and a bottle of water every 5 mile.

LOL sorry I had to laugh. You do not get trained by generals :P! I was in Smith Troop @ ATC Pirbright... Best training team there, too! It wasn't about taking ****, it was about discipline and doing as you were told, if you didn't you'd get ****** over. Soldiers don't do Marathons, we did tabs (or tactical advance to battle) which is kinda like a shuffle jog. As you move through training the amount of weight you carry and the distance you travel steadily increases. We were never given bananas though :(. You ALWAYS had water with you though. We all carried wine gums on advice of my section commander. When you started feel like you were losing energy you'd suck a couple and you'd feel a bit better. It's all in the head though. Overcome the psychological barriers (your PTIs help you to do that) and you can do it.

i forgot the name of the training people does it begin with c? for some reason c kept popping in my mind when i read it and i was like, **** it generals is close enough.
i guess it is about being told to do, but in a real war if he said "get the **** back" i would get the **** back. lmao.
I was in 2 ATR Pirbright, which is separated into four units. My unit was 1 (Fowler) Squadron. The Squadron Commander was a Captain. The squadron was then separated into five troops (one per floor) mine was Smith Troop (on the top floor which was ******* annoying when you were tired :P). Smith Troop had a Troop Commander (Captain Addison), a Troop Sergeant (Sergeant Thomas) and then Four Section Commanders (Corporals Ware, Clancy, Decker and Roberts) - they were your immediate training staff. You then had a PTI assigned to your troop (normally a Corporal or a Sergeant) as well as various other training staff - both military and civilian - through the course.
