For those who did not know, ClubHabbo site is returning on Sunday (1st Nov)
The forum was clubhabbo.net but now changed to clubhabboforum.net and also if you missed the old DJ's... don't worry as they are getting re-hired.

Thoughts?

How does that work? When all clubhabbo staff ****** off to hffm, it makes me laugh how hffm will lose some of there djs. I don't like other fansites but on this one occasion I'm glad clubhabbo are coming back just so it will be funny to look at other sites fail. Also is there radio licenced? I doubt it because its like 300£ a year therfor its kinda pointless in re-opening it. People think "oh P.P.L aren't bothering anymore" that's what they think but trust me they'll be back. However as I said its good to see them coming back.

@DarkEnemy; the whole point of CH closing was because they didn't have a radio licence so I'm guessing if it's coming back, they do now. I'm surprised Ryan is bothering though.

I think it'll be a whole new generation of users by now. I imagine it would still be popular though as it's official and the professionalism of CH's site was always attractive imo.

I'm sorry.
As I said in another thread at one stage they were bigger than habbox then blew it.
There time is over.
And they will never be as big as Habbox Live.

Clubhabbo is gonna do well this time round, its always been popular.

Yeah, but really of course, no site will be like Habbox because it is just to big. There is no point we all know it like. But there ment to be a Habbo Fansite, who cares if it masive like Habbox.

You spent £200+ pound on vb and hosting and a domain for a site that has about one user :S:S

Habbo is a kids game to us oldies but I reckon that the hardcore 11/12/13/14 year old habbo players will rave right into it.

HFFM is crap. Habbox (Main Site) is a piece of crap. And at the moment, clubhabboforum is better than habboxforum in terms of the web dev section. Habbox has much better coders but there are more threads & arguments on clubhabboforum.

Clubhabbos opening.. I can see it getting popular but it's sad to spend £300 on a radio license or w/e it is.

Shame they didn't think of the server overloading.
The "proudly hosted by simplex - hosting from 79p" maybe bought a VPS from another host then upload the images there for a day or two so split server load.. Makes sense though would take time to set up correctly.

It's a shame you didn't check close to the time the site went down then, to be honest. People were checking the link below and watching the uniques go up as the cloners were banned.

The site host was HostGator. Radio and forum are separate, I think.

It will end up like it was at it's end - 50 usera a day. Take now for example. Prime time to have listeners - they have 50 - WOO less than three days later and they are already going back to the ''good ol' days''.

And let's be honest, HABBO forum you cannot complain if the tech forum is not busy enough.

I'll take option #2. I think if anyone is taking the internet seriously, it is you Dan (taking pride in overloading a habbo radio station :eusa_clap), seriously, why not try to spend your time a bit more productively (considering you're old enough to get a job and make something of your life), eh? :)
