Cant hear anything..

Hi All,

Ive got a new headset and stuff, the sound and microphone works fine on other applications, however when I open up SAM, I can speak and I think sam picks it up because it goes funyn colours as I speak, but the songs I just cant hear anything. the output for the mixer is direct mixer and is set to the speakers in my headset but still cant see anything..

If you have vista click on the little speaker icon near the time at the bottom of the screen and click mixer. Then go along to the volume on Sam and check it isn't muted from there.

Also now when I play songs they echo on each other?

like the song is playing twice?

sort of.. I put to play it in Deck A for example and you can hear the song,, then the song again only about 5 minutes so its like "bla bla bla" couple of seconds later "bla bla bla" again.. o.O

I think I know what you mean and I'm pretty sure I've seen this happen to someone before.

If you click on File > Configuartion > Audio Mixer Pipeline can you tell me what setting proccess priority and audio priority are on?

Edit: in fact check the output on the bottom one for the mixer, is it on silent or direct?

Oh, you said that in your first post, change the mixer output to silent, that one should be silent, all the rest just leave them at direct and it should solve your problem.

Which Mixers shoudl be set to silent? Deck A/B Sound FX / Voice.
