Hey quick question, Are snow patches expected to rise? seeing as christmas is coming however will there be competition with the ice patches.. As more people may choose to use ICE instead of SNOW? At what price do you think people should start selling them off? Because once christmas hits they drop again

Do NOT buy Christmas items, worst thing you could possibly do. It has been around 3 years in a row now that everybody invested in them and each year they dropped earlier than expected, infact they drop so fast that you dont even get to sell them even if you are the fastest trader. I'd advise anybody to stay away from them unless you are buying to make a Christmas room.

I doubt they will SELL at two, they always seem to HIT 2hc on habbox, but rarely sell for that.

I bought about 150 snow patches last year at 1hc each - struggled to sell at 1.75 - sold about 50 at 2hc the rest 1.75-1.25hc!

Sell them at the start of December, I can assure you they will rise, they have done in past years and although ice patch's are a more nooby option the richer habbo's ain't gonna want them now are they? ;)

I know last year they rose to 3.5, then demand completely stopped when arctic was release and they fell right back down again, though I doubt that'll happen again this year, seeing as Arctic isn't likely to be this years 'Christmas furni'. It could be by all means but you never know. ;)

They are good investments but don't get loads, after all you have to sell them at a very minimal time between the end on November and the start of december. :P

No Ayden (have I got it right this time? :D)

They DID rise to 3.5hc, you are right, but I owned a very large amount as said above, and nobody PAID 3.5hc - I have no idea if that value was taken off one trade or something. Arctic is much more prefered by the general user and will always sell better than the snow patch at the moment, as snow patches, unless put inside petals, are not exactly 'beautiful' :D

I think they're beautiful, which way, your not likely to loose much buy buying a snow floor for 28 HC and selling near the xmas now are you? :D

And read my usertitle. <3

Yeh but you won't gain much either. And being a HRVR doesn't mean you know more than others.

Wthout a room competition demand for any snow value will half. You should know that - after all 'read your usertitle' :S

What are you on about, I was talking about my name being in my usertitle because you spelt it wrong not the fact I'm HRVR. :$ No need for the sarcasm either?

The problem is that thousands of other Habbos are also thinking the same thing and will sell at the same time, every single year I see people making a loss on these rares when they've been told otherwise. I don't see why people dont stick to Petal/Grass anyway, looks more cosy etc when used in a Chrismas room whereas Snow looks cold and bland.

I remember paying 56hc for a snow floor when they were 2.5 on habbox and i was like 'ill make a good profit' and ended up selling it 28hc. They do drop alot earlier than you'd expect!

Ajthedragon

Having said that luke buying at that price for a floor was hardly gonna get your profit, you need to buy the floors while its 28 HC. ;)

However. If we go by the craze the HXRV department made at the time, anyone would have thought they would hit 4 never mind 2.5hc ;)

The RVM at the time had over 100 snows, might of had something to do with it *cough*.

Myself I never go by Habbox unless its for some super rares. :P

Lol. Tbh I don't use Habbox as often as I used to, I just go by what I think is right most of the time :P But I'm not saying that Habbox isn't right. I'm just not a person who does everything exactly to what Habbox says.
