Has this like been banned from TV or something? I know it sounds stupid but it's the only conclusion I can come to for it never being on, as it's probably the Disney movie that always made you cry as a kid without fail.

I only notice that it's never on because I loved it as a kid and my dad recorded it off the TV when I was like 2 or 3 yet I've not once seen it listed in my whole life since.

So just curious (and there's no active threads outside spam atm lol :P).

I've never noticed it on TV in a long time either. It wouldn't be banned, but it's probably considered "too old" (somehow) for modern kid audiences, so networks now prefer to show stuff from the 2000s for animation.

Hmm, I'm sure I've seen the DVD advertised, so would this have been the original or a remastered version? If it's the latter then they should show that on TV. They still show stuff like Snow White at Christmas don't they? And after a look on Wiki I believe that that's 5 years older!

Yeah, probably the remastered cut. Is it out on Blu-ray yet? It would look great in HD.

Yeah, some tripe they made in '06. I don't recommend it, to say the least.

The story actually happens during the first film. It's not completely awful, but not a patch on the original as you would imagine.
