I've sorted out my SAM 2 and everything (:D) and I was wondering, when you talk into the mic, is it SUPPOSED to echo? It doesn't echo on the SAM 2 on my XP laptop, yet when I had SAM on my Vista laptop before, it echoed.
I know my mic's working because I can hear myself, but does anyone else's echo?
Is it normal or does it need to be turned off?
Thanks :)

Ermmm is it SAM3?
Echo in SAM 3:
On the Voice FX box in SAM click Config and where it says Voice FX destination (recording mode) select the option that says "Encoders (record to pipeline, skip output)". Then when you speak you should no longer get an echo on your mic.

No it's SAM 2, but on the XP one, those are my settings and there's no echo

Im not tooooooo sure.
But if you can hear urself.. erm.
Go to ur volume thing down the bottom of the screen near the date.
Right click it and click on recording devices, right click ur mic
and click properties it should say something about playing wot u hear through
the mic through the speakers back to u. That mightttt be it, im not sure ;)
Hope it helps x
EDIT: Oh you fixed it ;)
