I'll be watching tonight, hoping for a Haye victory. He's a cocky **** but a decent fighter. But as much power and pace as he has, I can't look past Valuev retaining his title tonight. He's a monster. I've watched some videos of him on YouTube and SkySports and it's frightening to think that Haye is getting in the ring with this guy. The fact it's in Germany will give Valuev a further advantage. Hopefully David will surprise me but I just can't see it.
Valuev to knock Haye out in the 4th Round.

I don't think Valuev would win with a k.o, if Valuev is going to win it'll be on points, definitely, if Haye is going to win then it'll have to be a knock out at some point, Haye will NOT get a points victory in Germany, the judges WILL be bias.
Valuev has never fought someone with the power or speed of Haye, and I think that's what will be the difference, speed. Haye will be able to get in their to land a couple of shots, and get out before Valuev even has time to move his fist, and before he knows it Haye will be on the other side of the ring.
It'll be very cat and mouse.
Hope that's what'll happen anyway.

Valuev will win in the first few minutes and it will be a let down. :P No I don't pay for boxing as it's too unpredicatable. You could pay £15 for a 2 min fight so not worth it. Although this is a very well published fight and I wouldn't mind watching it and it should be good.

You have just clearly shown how little you know about boxing.
This will NOT be a 1 round wonder. In fact, Haye is the favorite to win.

You can't really say that as if it's a fact.

People said that about the Ricky Hatton fight a while back and it was which was a big let down. I'll admit I know hardly anything about boxing as I don't really watch it, but sometimes a 1 round wonder does happen in big fights and when you pay £15 for a fight and for it to be over in 10 mins then it isn't really worth it although like I said not a big boxing fan so don't know a lot about it. I wouldn't mind watching this fight but for £15 when you don't know how long it will last.
So yeah I'll admit I don't know a lot about boxing although I have seen a lot of coverage for this fight and although he may be favourite... the guy he's facing is well... a beast and it wouldn't surprise me if Haye got KO'd pretty sharpish.
I was actually joking about the first line hence why I put ':P'. I don't think that would happen but it wouldn't surprise me either. I was just saying I don't pay for it because it's unpredictable.

You never know though. Boxing is the kind of thing I'd watch in a room of mates and chip in a few pounds rather then watch it on my own or w/e.
Oh well I suppose I'll have to watch the Athletico vs Madrid tonight then :P I might try and find a stream for it though if there are any.

He's tall and has got power, knock out will be early. Maybe 3rd round, Haye will lose.

Ooh seems like this was a good match to buy :P Good on Haye. Out of intrest, is this the top belt that he won? I know there are lots of belts in Boxing but not sure which is the biggest?

it was a boring match tbh.
12th round was the best round out of the lot, Haye had Valuev wobbling.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Been waiting to do that since you posted those comments, now I can rub it in your face.
Anyway, boring fight, last 4 rounds were the best. Haye injured ir right hand in the first couple of rounds and was fighting with only his left hand throughout the majority of the fight, that's how easy it was for him. He even nearly knocked Valuev out in the last round, was so close.
Told youuuuuuuuuuuuu, I think I was the only one in this thread who predicted a Haye win. :D

Walked into that one ;) And as I said above, I was joking with the Haye getting knocked out straight away comment.

:P I admit I was surprised he got the points decision, but he did deserve it, I just didn't think he'd get it in Germany. Fair play to the judges for not being corrupt. (if you know anything about boxing you'll know judges can be swayed quite easily.)

It wasn't.
And to answer your question, there are 4 major Heavyweight boxing championships. Haye won the WBA title, and the other 3 are held by these russian brothers whos names escape me.
Anyway, no way did Haye win that by 4 rounds. Not a chance. Pritty dull match and Haye wasted alot of oppurtunities, and was so cocky. Wasn't really that impressed myself. But, he won so I guess that's got to be appreciated.

WBC, WBO, WBU, WBA world titles at every weight (there are also Intercontinental titles called the IBO and IBU, but they are only minor, e.g. Ricky Hatton geld the IBO belt at light-welter, but he was the best at his weight so at that time the IBO belt was the most sought after belt), the two MAIN titles are WBC and WBA, which are the most prestigious, and I think you are on about the Klitchsko's? (Vladamir (holds WBU&WBC belts) and Vitali (holds WBO belt) - Haye was meant to fight Vitali Kitchkso's in July (for the WBO belt), on Setanta, but Setanta went bust so it had to be called off, thus meaning this fight took place.
Also, Haye didn't impress you because he's sprained his right wrist, so Haye was practically fighting the majority of the fight with only his left hand and a numbed up right hand. Was a dull fight, but against someone that big there was never really going to be much action, because if they got into a scrap then the only winner would have been Valuev.
