Random Habbo Bans

Ok, I decided to make this thread because I've seen a lot of posts on Habbox and HFFM forum about random habbo bans, I've said this tonnes of times, Habbo at the moment I think are going mad, it all started after the pool raids, now MODs are frightened that they'll get there 'jobs' taken away for not taking up a case, I think myself that Habbo are being totally stupid with bans, I've been perm banned myself fopr scamming, don't when but yeah habbo go mad with bans, they don't even give you your furni onto another account, so it's stupid. Thats my discussion.

I agree tbh. There's 3 week backlog and I'm going to end up wasting $20 getting my account unbanned.

I think habbo staff don't do there job, they don't investigate the issue, they just click the "Ban" button.

No offence but some of what you're saying is as silly. What's the point in a ban if they will give you your furni back? :S The idea is to get rid of you. Also, that point about mods issuing random bans for fear of losing their jobs is ludicrous.

Idk. With some of the stuff that's happened with Beta, alot of mods have been chewed out over some really stupid things, like R1M not being banned quick enough for server side pink nellies.

But yeah the furni thing is kinda... lol.

They're not going to lose their job for dismissing a report but obviously they have to investigate and give bans as appropriate. This has nothing to do with ebaumsworld raiding the lidos dressed as nigrahs in tight fitting suits and black afros; nor has it anything to do with them being mentally unstable 20-somethings that want to make some quick cash by 'moderating' a virtual world.

At the end of the day, they may get it wrong sometimes but think about the thousands of habbos that have been banned for all the right reasons. You can't really complain because if it looks like you're scamming, you'll be banned. If you've got an abundance of stolen furniture hidden in your rooms, you'll be banned. If you're cyber thrusting a 9 year old girl in a lodge bed, you'll be banned.

To say that the moderators don't investigate the issue is extremely naive and quite frankly not that nice. I'm quite sure that moderators try their hardest to enforce the rules upon habbos and tbh 2/4 hour bans aren't all that devastating yet seem to have some effect since people don't tend to repeat their offences.

There are some (only a few) circumstances in which people have been banned for stupid reasons but this is usually fixed within a matter of hours/days so it's nothing to worry about really.

I got banned, only 2 hours mind, for reporting a girl who came into my room and said wanna be dirty (I only reported to test the new button :D) and my reply was whut, I got banned for being involved in sexual roleplay. For saying whut.

My Point is, Habbo don't sort it out within a day. Mine has taken 1 year for habbo not to sort it out.
