PS3 Slimline

Looking to get the 120GB model, but the problem is I only want to spend about £220-£240 on it, with two controllers. I have looked on Ebay and they are being sold with one controller for about £220. I really want to get a PS3 now as it seems as though everyone is switching, and with all the current banning and whatever, some friends of mine will never get online again.

Can anyone tell me if it is worth getting the PS3 slimline over the normal? I can get a second hand PS3 with games for like £160 on ebay, and controllers - but is it worth paying the extra for the Slim?

So what do you think? is it even possible to get a Slimline PS3 120GB with two controllers for about £230?

Not too sure. I hav both slimline & origional. Slimline is cheaper even tho its newer so u cud get one of them wiv a second hand controller, so u'd av the 1 it comes with & the SH 1.

PS3 has more features over the Slimline version, e.g. PS2 compatibility.

The new PS3 has better power efficiency, bigger hard drive and a lower price off the top of my head, apart from that its pretty much the same hardware as the slim one. The slim one is just cheaper new.

Bargain, HMV have some nice bundles on too but that deal at sainsburys tops it. GO FOR IT.

Not the contract though. £25 per month for a tocco lite is too much, free PS3 or not :P

PS3 slims are said to be worse than the normal ps3's. And theyre harder to fix. So id reccommend the fat ps3 :) i have 1...
