I've looked at YellowSn0w but not sure what to do. Problem is, I'm running 04.26.08 so can it be unlocked?
If so, how? :)
Thanks.

Yeah, update to the latest firmware via iTunes (3.1.2) - then download blackra1n from here; www.blackra1n.com (http://www.blackra1n.com) - download it, click 'make it ra1n', wait 15 seconds, your phone will reboot.
Once the phone has rebooted go to your iPhone homescreens, click 'blackra1n', then install 'Cydia' and 'Blacksn0w', wait for the phone to reboot and the phone will be FULLY unlocked to ALL networks. Then just go into 'blackra1n' and click 'uninstall blackra1n', to make the icon disappear as you won't need it anymore. Done. :)
Hope I helped. :P
And yes, it really is that simple.

Yeah, that too, but it costs £15. Blackra1n is and always will be 100% free.

From what I know mate, it's free for iPhone pay monthly customers but it's £15 for PAYG customers.
Get it done whilst it's free! ;)

Ohhh, but for the pay monthly customers it has to be at the END of the contract, rite?

Ahh, well at the end of my contract if this is still free then I'll definitely get it done. But I don't see why O2 would offer their contract customers a chance to unlock their iPhone whilst they are still under contract? wouldn't make sense lol. :P
And yeah mine is JailBroken, not unlocked though - no point.

Check my other thread....
Do you think it's a good idea to have the Official Jailbroken Thread?
