Just had a thought.. There's a embed feature on the new habbo, where you can actually embed your habbo room on a webpage.

Has anyone actually tried this yet?

It would be cool if Habbox did it at www.habbox.com/HelpDesk

Then regulars who are in there a lot can simply go to that address rather than the habbo site and log straight into the room.

This would be cool :8

What do you think? You could also direct habbos to the web address rather than having to ask them to "search colon jin colon".

Thoughts? :D

I wouldn't use it anyways so

I use different browsers for dif things, so i dont have like 20 tabs open in IE, i have like habbo etc on Safari and dif things, so it wouldn't work as it'd try opening it on same browser.

Yeah it's a good idea for us people that don't use different browsers :P I think it'll work well. +rep.

Good idea, would be easier for people like me who log in once in a blue moon and only go hxhd.

Not really

you still have to click the link, (takes you to habbo) click log in, put in ur info

only dif is you dont need to take 2 seconds to click room name :P

and if you only log in in once in a blue moon then really doesn't matter ;P

But why not make use of a feature that habbos provided?

It's the kind of thing that can be used by people who find it easier and left by the people who dont. It doesn't effect your life if you don't want to use it lol

Edit: Plus, habbox could possibly use it to mention the latest announcement about the HelpDesk on the same page.

Second Edit!: Or even have the list of Help Desk staff next to the habbo window!

Just a thought anyways..

This is a possibility, we're thinking of rearranging the Help Desk page at the moment so maybe this could be tied into that :)

im seeing the point ^

if some people get used to using it all the time and don't bother checking to make sure it links to habbo, then a corrupt hx manager or if hx gets hacked then they could easily direct it to another website of their own and get your info.

I am finding it a little erm unreliable at the moment, had the opportunity to test it the day before it went out live on .co.uk

www.habboxforum.com/hxhd.html currently linked to the old room.

I dont see a great benefit in it as you need to still login to the client and all it essentially is doing is using a frame that displays the client and when the user logs in it forces them to go to [HxHD]. It would be about the same as if you logged in at habbo.co.uk, started the client and going to HxHD.

The only benefit is that you dont need to search the room name. What would be useful is if habbo created a way of properly embedding a room, much like how you have an option of viewing a public room when it is full but not being able to speak or interact therefore logging in would not be required. Essentially just like viewing a room.

And then you could use a packet sniffer to create your very own room logs :D and without being caught :P.
