on a serious note, just drink moderately. no point asking what drinks barely make you sick as everyone has different limits.

Just drink less, any drink can make you sick. Personally i like most beers/vodka but only certain types dont usually make me sick. Although i know when im done and when to continue so thats probs why i barely get sick.

well that's where your problem lies - not with the alcohol but with yourself. you just gotta know when to stop, drink water at intervals and make sure you've eaten a reasonable amount (make sure you've gone out on a full stomach and possibly eat while your out and about).

Also if you feel you had too much try eating some bread that usually sobers you up abit.

EVERY single time we're out drinking my friend is always always sick, the problem with her though is she never eats before because she wants to get drunk quicker and not have to drink so much, just eat a lot of food n drink a lot of water beforehand and you'll probably be okay but if not try drinking light drinks because apparently the darker they are the more sick you'll get & just stick to the same drink cause mixing will make it worse..

vodka. & lemonade!

Doesn't make me sick, only time i was sick was when i mixed beer and vodka (i was alternating drinks, one beer, then one vodka, then one beer etc)

This.

Smirnoff ice is vodka and lemonade. It's a little bit pricy if you are buying 15+ but they go down so well. Because they don't have that strong alcohol taste you're not going to be sick either.

Strongbow Sweet is good too, if you want a cider. They go down like water!

^ Cider isn't a bad shout actually, goes down easier than beer anyway.
I often make fun of people for drinking WKD, Smirnoff Ice and the like but they're actually the easiest thing to drink. You just don't taste the alcohol at all. That's the main reason they're such a big problem for binge drinking etc.

alchopops and vodi orange juice floaters (vodi through a tea towel)
cider blackcurrents easy to take, but you get a nightmare of a hangover of cider.

Before you start drinking drink some milk to line you stomach.

Everyone is different and can stomach different drinks, stick to alcopops :P I prefer vodka or JD.

I've only actully ever been sick once when I drank a big bottle of WKD..cringe!

I think just take it slow is the best advice. I was only sick when I took three tequila slammers bang bang bang. Can't stand cider. I used to drink Fosters all the time, but sick of it now so just drink Guinness or at the cocktail bar, White Russians. It's when we all chuck a quid in each for slammers that I regret afterwards :P.

Drink slowly and drink water too. Alcohol flows out of you faster then. Crap lager like Budwiser helps. you can go drinking gallons. You probs won't even get a buzz though.

WKD is blue water, it's nigh on impossible to get drunk off.

Vodka and Coke for me most of the time or Vodka and Taboo.

Larger tastes like crap and Cider gives you the worst hangover ever.

The only drink I've ever threw up after is Southern Comfort :|.

Gotta agree with Sunnily!

Also, no odour left in your breath is nice. But just drink it straight without mixing anything in, it means you're going to end up consuming more alcohol but mixing it with sickly sweet drinks is going to be more likely to make you sick if you are drinking a lot of the drink like coke.

Vodka probably affects me the least the next day unless I overdo it..

The WORST for me is gin though. Had a bit too much one night and never repeated it!

I cant say I have ever been sick, oh hang on... their was new year where me and my mate mixed, vodka, whiskey, gin and something else. All in a glass, I was... well i'll never forget it. I was up all night sick. But the drinks that hardly make me ill are either lager or Guiness.

No alcohol has ever made me sick. The only time I ever felt sick was after a shot of sambuca because of how sweet it is. I had never had it before and the sweetness was just utterly cloying and it like stuck to my mouth. I think something was wrong with it.

Swastika
12-12-2009, 01:51 PM
yeah, try to stay away from sambuca and stuff, it doesn't go down that well, thats why its comes as a shot mainly ;).
just keep to beer tho, never makes you sick, unless u get into the 20's lmao.

Wine, but when I've drunk alot of anything I don't get hungover while some friends I know only need to have a few glasses of wine and they worry about the hangover the next morning :S I don't drink for the sake of it anyway, only during sexy parties or out having a meal.

Bulmers Original does absolutely nothing to me (other than make me drunk), but if I have pear (in any cider), after about 2-3 bottles, I feel like I'm gonna heave.

2 glasses of brandy = 1 50ml glass (pub measurments). I don't even think that'll get my 12 yearold brother drunk..

I done that to my brother, we went to the pub and I said, "Shane, we have to finish our beers at the same time, every time. If yours is almost untouched you have to down it, likewise."

He lasted 5 pints.

mixing wine beer and vodka is never good.

i always end up mixing them though ;\ oh and blue wkd makes me throw up, but only if ive mixed it with wine

beer before wine and you'll be fine
wine before beer and you'll be quere.

But if you want to drink without getting too drunk just do shandys. 1/2 lemonade, 1/2 beer.

Yes, now try drinking that crap five times faster. My point was that I was sick after drinking them too fast.

How is working in a pub even relevant? We've had various pubs in the family, I basically grew up in them. Doesn't make me an alcoholic or anything.

I think suicide bombs/reverse jagers are horrible.

We went drinking with my cousins once and we did jager bombs/beers/jim beam (we had maybe 6-8 each?) because we had "$10 for 10standard drinks" so we were doing that stuff, then they bought a suicide bomb.. That **** got me totally screwed up.
