Right, I've been scanning through various websites and things looking at information on films that are 18.

As some people may know law abiding citizen is out tomorrow and it's an 18 :| And not being 18 this means I can't get in right?

Well according to some websites I can get in with a parent, now is this true? Cause I'm that willing to see it I probably would go with my mum to see it.

Any one got any ideas?

Cheers xxxx

No, if you're under 18 in the UK you are not allowed in. 12A is the only certificate where you are allowed in underage if you are accompanied by someone 18 or over.

Nope. A funny story about this is when Spider-Man was released at cinemas. It was a 12, so at the time my brother was too young to see it with us. But the following week, the 12A certificate was introduced and Spider-Man was downgraded to that cert :P.

Spider-man finished its cinema run with the 12 certificate, it didn't change half way through. It was re-released at the beginning of September with a 12A.

June 14th. I assume it ended its run mid August.

Yes, they made it 12A after complaints that kids couldn't see it.

The scene where the Green Goblin's face flashes on screen made me jump :P The only bit of violence would be when the glider pins him to the wall. Shouldn't even be a 12A imo, PG.

Well the last scene where Goblin beats the crap out of Spider-man isn't really PG material, and he expresses how much fun he's going to have killing Mary Jane. Plus there is one use of swearing, and a theme of revenge. I think a 12A is a fair rating. :P
