Perhaps now the moderators will see this as a good time to make this thread? Or perhaps like last time I saw a thread on this topic they'll just shut it and say 'Not enough info 4 it yet'.
Anyway, who you wanting/expecting? Oh and I guess it includes the bullcrap you see in the papers.
I'm wanting Yaya Toure but it wont happen in January. Wanting a new RB and LB, Maicon would be nice. May aswell stick in a £75,000,000 bid for Torres - it'll be a laugh. The chances of it happening are extremely unlikely but the chances got bumped up after this weeks events. It'll be a laugh seeing Liverpool squirm knowing they need to sell up.
Oh and sounds like Weiss is off out on loan for some Premiership experience which will be good for the lad.
Chelsea will buy over five players imo which is excessive for January but hey - they better do it.

Well, we need a target man and some centre-midfielders so it's 2 full-backs, a winger and a nippy front man for us.
Oh, and Adam Matthews could well be gone.

wolves need a lb, winger to cover on both sides, and a striker.

Yes please.
On Sunday Bruce is going to Europe to watch "a certain player." Hopefully he'll be in Spain watching Madrid vs Barcelona. :P It's more likely he'll be in Belgium or Lithuania or something.

-enter some random Spanish kids here who may or may not turn out to be good signings-
Meanwhile, hopefully we'll find a buyer for Voronin and Babel. Sadly I doubt Rafa will sell Lucas.

Lol yeah.
I do hope we put in a bid though, bit more realistic.
Can't see him wanting to stay at Liverpool if they're not looking at UCL next year.

Why do you want to see city being rejected by another world class player?
Mascherno will leave and that will be it.

He's saying that Rafa will sell your best players, like he sold Xabi Alonso. So rather than sell Babel, he'll sell Masch.

Alonso wanted to go, simple as, let him go.
By the looks of it mascherano wants to go, let him go.

I'm hoping we can get a defender or centre midfielder to strenghten our defensive play.
Deal of the decade if it went through, Alex.
Linked heavily to Adam Johnson and Figueroa. Yes please.
strong rumours about that from this side as well :(. and erm we still need a goalscorer. out midfield is sick, our defence will sharpen up soon, but we need somebody to bang in goals apart from our left winger (and he might be going anyway!).

I will admit though, not sure why we need the lad. We have Reid who's in brutal form so unless we swap him to the right, drop Malbranque and slide Johnson in at the left, I can't see it working. I mean, we could play Reid at CM but then waste Cana or Catts. We could play a 4-2-3-1 but then we waste Jones. I don't particularly want us to waste Malbranque on the bench though. Richardson could step into LB.

Been linked with "someone" in Europe, Adam Johnson, Figeuroa.
Tbh, we should be after: LB, RB, LM, CM (backup) RM, ST (backup)
but i doubt he'll make that many changes.
Anyway, after being at Wigan on Saturday I thought N'zogbia was immense (as he was last season at the Stadium of Light) wouldn't mind puttinga bid in for him.

Did anyone spot Bruce on Sunday?
And I think our fullback problem is priority. Then a back up CM (Reid, Richardson, Malbranque and Henderson are capable enough on the wings in my opinion) and then a back up ST. Yeah I always have liked N'Zogbia. In fact, lets just recall Tainio for the CM. Figueroa and Hutton would suit me.

After the signing of mighty Vincent Pericard until January, we'll be hoping to extend his contract until the end of the season. Same thing with Tom Taiwo who's on loan from Chelsea. Adam Clayton from Man City could probably stay/go depending on if he plays or not in the coming games. Aside from that, Graham Kavanagh's getting very old by now and is knackered after 90 minutes so we'll be looking for more midfield cover and another striker if Vince leaves. Knowing Greg Abbott though, there'll be no money spent, more players will leave than come in and we'll be left with an even more threadbear squad than we have now.
