We’ve all heard the phrase "thinking outside the box" haven't we? Well if you haven't, it is where you are thinking slightly different rather than thinking what is most likely to happen. Now you may have seen the competition name, Thinking Outside the Film, and in a way, it is a bit like that.

As you may know by our messenger, Habbox Santa, the Grinch is stealing all our characters! Now in this competition, one of the characters has gone missing and the Grinch is keeping him hostage! Now some of you may have watched Doctor Who and there is something called the “timey-wimey ball of stuff”. It really exists, honest! Have a read through.

You may have heard of the film Santa Clause, a 1994 film. Basically, there is a family; Scott Calvin being the dad, Charlie Calvin being the son. In fact, I can't be bothered to recite it, have a look at this quick summary.

"Divorcee Scott Calvin is disgusted to learn that his ex and her husband have tried - and failed - to break it easy to their 6-year-old son Charlie that Santa isn't real. On Christmas Eve, Scott reads The Night Before Christmas... then receives an unexpected visitor on his roof. When he's startled by Scott's calling out and falls, the Santa impersonator disappears, leaving only an 8-reindeer sleigh and a suit with instructions to put it on if he's involved in an accident. Scott does, and is transported around the town dropping gifts through chimneys until he's taken to the North Pole and informed by a group who claim they're elves that he is now Santa. Charlie is proud of his dad's new job, though Scott's convinced it's a dream. Until his hair turns white, his beard refuses to stay shaved, he gains weight inexplicably, even for his sudden love of junk food... Now he's accepted it, there's just one problem: how to keep it secret from his disbelieving family?"

Unfortunately, poor Scott Calvin (Santa Clause) is the man who has been stolen from the Grinch! Now we need to create a review but without Scott in it. If we do that, the “timey-wimey ball of stuff” will work and bring back Scott and the real story! So the aim is to create the same sort of story, but instead of Scott being the saviour, it is little Charlie! You need to rewrite that review so that Charlie sees Santa Clause. What will he do when he sees him disappear? He obviously won't be proud of the job, and in fact... will he even BECOME the new Santa Clause? I want you to post what you think could happen! Good luck. It is our only hope!

Young children, what you gonna do? The excitement the behold on the lead up to christmas is just breathtaking isn't it? Opening presents on christmas morn, wanting to play with everything at once, its magical. However, Charlie's parents were trying to break it to him that Santa no longer existed, but it was harder than they imagined. On Christmas eve, an almighty thud clattered upon the roof, Charlie being eager and excited decided to look outside and saw SANTA falling off the roof. Clambering up the long, think, drainage pipe Charlie's eyes glistened, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 Charlie counted on his fingers, a sleigh non the less santa's was there, the santa inpersonater told him to hop in the sleigh and do what needed to be done. As Charlie always listened, and respected his elders he heaved himself over and the magic begun. He was transported from street to street, from town to town, from city to city, the world sped by him and before he knew it he was in a workshop with tiny men. They told him "So your the new Santa Clause eh? Well I imagined you would have been taller, well atleast taller than us. However, it's not the size, age or colour it's if you can take your new role and help us save christmas. However, did he take on the role? Did he make everyone happy? Did he keep this secret from his family? Well, that's all the information your going to get.
