Came across this somewhat randomly, but its pretty impressive.
If you dont have headphones, preferably good ones, i'd suggest giving this a miss and waiting till you do, else the effect will be lost.
If you do have a decent pair of headphone, plug em in, put em on and listen to this youtube clip. Its more effective with your eyes closed.

(the matches bit lasts a while, but aint as impressive as some of the later stuff)
Basically its just very cleverly done 3d sound, to the effect that, with good headphones, its as if someone else is in the room walking around ypu. The hair-dryer bit is probably the most freaky as your brain starts filling some of your other scenes to fit with it (may not work for everyone)
