Going to have to correct you here completely. It doesn't matter what forum software. If it looks good, has something to offer and is well looked after then any forum software works.
Paying out the nose for vBulletin means absolutely nothing. Infact I would recommend MyBB to anyone starting out a new forum.
Moving on :$
I'd say making your own unique skin would be a good place to start. I see that one on every new Mybb forum. Even changing the images would be good :8

Thanks for your help Jamesy :D
Ok so you would recommend that I create my own unique skin and then changing which images would be good the banner at the top?
because currently my forum is having a banner compeition and whichever banner is best will be used.
If anyone would like to take part in the banner competition for my forum then all information can be found here:

You have destroyed 90% of your target audience.
NEVER include habbo forums if you make a gaming forum. It doesn't work.

I'm unsure what you mean? where did I say that there is a habbo FORUM on my forum? Please do tell me...I said there was a single thread about it and that is it.
Next time read my posts more carefully please :).

Gaming Forum - Great for Habbo Lovers!
That sort of gives the impression, whether you like it or not :l
And one thread is silly, either have it or don't. But hard gamers don't tend to want to talk about habbo.

I agree hard gamers dont want to talk about habbo hence they ignore that thread?
This is a habbo forum so what audience is best to target....hmmm? maybe...ppl who play habbo? oh yeah thats a good idea ;).
Also the point is that you claim a habbo FORUM is bad is bad for the hard gamers and since there is not a habbo forum on my forum it kindof defeats the point of what you're saying but I do grealt appirictae your critism.
I like all critism because what you are saying is correct if I included a habbo forum on my website then it would destroy alot of visitors I gain...so thank you!!
anymore people that wants to make a comment, please do.
