So there's this website (www.theuniformproject.com) that's run by this girl that's trying to do an exercise in sustainable fashion.
Basically, she has seven identical copies of this basic gray button down dress that is reversible. Then each day she puts on different layers, accessories, shoes, etc., all of which are either vintage, hand-made, or hand-me-downs. She's doing this for a year, and each day she's posting up an image of her outfit. She's also collecting donations as a fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that is 'revolutionizing education in India'. All contributions go towards their School Project which funds uniforms and other education expenses for children living in the slums of India.
Anyway, my friend showed me this recently I thought it was kind of cool so I figured I'd share. Some of her outfits are actually pretty cute, though some of them I'm definitely not a fan of. Anywho, enjoy!
