Hi
I'm currently on Windows Vista and I'd like to upgrade to Windows 7.
However I don't know how much it would cost and where I could get the cheapest and best.
Any help will get a +REP
Thanks,
Ardemax :)

I really couldn't recommend you to a store, but I have been told if your a student apparently you can get discounts. You probably know this already. +Rep because its a good question that I would also like the answer for.

If you are a valid student then you can get it for £30 at: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/education/studentoffer/default.aspx
If that isn't an option, I suggest checking out:
www.ebuyer.com
www.overclockers.co.uk
www.amazon.co.uk

But is it like an upgrade download or something?

It's more or less like an upgrade. My brother got a CD to use on his laptop just lastweek :l

You are supposed to download the upgrade and then install via some way like that.
You can order a CD, but you can also make the download into a bootable CD, if something might happen, you still have the downloaded upgrade on the cd.
