ok about a month ago (late Oct) i thought id try out that Amazon Prime - its where you get free delivery and delivered within a day. It stated that its a month trial and they would contact me if i would like to proceed to buy Prime for £40+. They never.
Today I received my bank statement and it says that Amazon Prime took the money out for the full payment of using Prime. I used it once and that was to order COD MW2.
I dont want this Prime and don't think i ever will.
I want to contact them and ask for a refund.
Will i be allowed?

I tried amazon prime. You'll never get that money back - it states well and clear beforehand that you must cancel the subscribtion first. You should have cancelled as soon as you got it, you'd still have it until the end of the month but it wouldn't continue.
Go into account settings and it should be in there somewhere, if you cancel now you'll still get the benifits of this month which you paid for until it expires.
You could possibly raise a support case with amazon although this might not get you very far.

I was going to do that, but thought id use the normal 2-3 day free delivery instead, save alot of hassle in future especially as il forget to cancel

Happened to everyone.
Just login and go to memberships, and there's a request refund option, so long as you haven't used it for a month.

I kept meaning to do it, and within 20 days of the trial, I was routing around the website to find the page to cancel it. could'nt find it, then i forgot all about it.
tbh i think this is a scam (:
buttons aren't clear.

i cant even find memberships.
poor layout (:
EDIT:
after browsing through the website, i found this
You may cancel your membership at any time, and end your Prime benefits immediately. You will receive a full refund of your membership fee if neither you nor your invited household members have used your Prime benefits since we charged you for your current membership period. If you select "Cancel membership," we will tell you whether you qualify for a refund before we ask you to confirm your cancellation. You can continue enjoying your Prime benefits until the end of the current period without further charge by setting your membership to "Do not renew" above.
EDIT again:
because i was a month into the 12 month contract, they offered me a partial refund of 11 months - £43.97
so yeah, almighty relieved if I may say so.
