Yeah, I want one of them for Christmas - but I can't decide! They are roughly the same price.

I haven't posted pictures, because I don't care what they look like, I want the one that is the BEST.

I should note that I mainly want to use it for SKIING, so lots of movement!

Thanks! :)

(Don't choose other and then put the Flip HD, it is VERY unstable).

Judging from the specs, the maximum resolution a Creative Vado can do is 720 pixels while the Samsung U10 can do full 1080p :)

The Samsung is £89.99 and the Creative Vado is £72.99, so it depends if you want full HD for just a bit more than 720. The Creative has pretty good reviews though, but doesn't zoom so well, but as you're skiing you may not need to zoom :P The Samsung seems to have problems with image stability, but whether or not the Creative suffers the same I can't tell :/

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu_hVPVUb7U - video shot with a Creative Vado, which seems pretty good :) Still a bit shakey though, so arguably both have image stability problems.

Thanks man, +rep!

Where did you see the Vado as £72.99?!!! :O:O:O

But yeah, Vado seems to have better reviews, even though the Samsung is
1080p, but at the same time, the Samsung looks better - but i'm not too bothered about that.

It's too hard to decide! :(

It is lol :P And Play.com I think :)

When reading the mixed reviews and viewing the multiple videos, they're both the same really, other than one has higher quality. I'd probably go for the Creative over the Samsung, means saving a few pounds for what is not alot of difference :P But the Samsung is a bit better looking, and the touch interface looks like a novelty item to try and jazz it up a little.

EDIT: Play.com results

Yeah, i've cut it down to... which ever one has the least 'shakiness' when skiing (or similar heavy moving sports). :P

And the Vado's on that link are the normal ones, not the HD ones. It's about £97 on Amazon, and about £120 everywhere else!

I wouldn't bother with any of them, just get a compact camera.

Slightly off topic but some of the "reviews" that guy does are hilarious :D

Ashens. <3

And yeah, that is a VERY old review, and they aren't even the Cameras i'm talking about here, so it's a bit irrelevant. :P

Agreed! :D

His point at the end is relevant; they're not worth the money and you can get machines with far more features for the same money

I've decided to go with the Creative Vado HD. :)

It's had far better reviews than the Samsung U10, and it's also cheaper (as the U10 has suddenly shot up to £120?!).
