Personally, i think that this transfer shows Spurs' ambition to go far in the premier league, and hopefully qualify for Europe.

Also it strengthens Spurs' chances of beating Arsenal and humiliating them at White Hart Lane, and also Arsenals last season at Highbury. :D (yes they will win Neil ;))

Yes It's a good signing for them. No offence but he seems too good for them. I know hes getting on a bit but i thought if anywhere he's go to a bigger English club. I bet spurs fans arent complaining though.
