LOL, Someone sent me this on MSN - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUatHNp8ABQ
Then I remember talking with Niall some time ago about a new series of Beyblade being produced in Japan. It's airing now and is set to hit US/UK in Fall 2010. I want to see what its like so anyone know if anyone is subbing this, must be someone.

Was Beyblade a cartoon originally? I think I was too old so that craze completely passed me by. All I remember is the kids in my street playing with these mini Beyblade type things, but they weren't really Beyblades. Besides that was only a few years ago but weren't you talking about it from your primary school days (I'm guessing that was years ago)?

Well technically it's an anime, but yes it was a cartoon shown on Toonami back in the day. Beyblade was first aired in the UK in 2002.

Cool. Are these the Indian ones or the proper ones? Cos I think this is what we had;

Indian ones? You on about those dodgy ones that cost like 99p? They were hilarious. The only good thing about those was that they came with a super long ripcord. The one you posted above appears to be an official one.

Yeah the ones I saw came in a bag with about 3 or 4 I think and they were really small. Maybe that pic isn't what I mean then.

The one you posted isn't official, its a fake. The official ones had a plastic bit over the bit in the middle and the bit only stretched accross the centre 3rd of it. Don't ask how I know that :P

I'd say that was a real one, the gaps at the side of the 'monster' piece in the middle might be because its various ones put together, plus the launcher and 'rip cord' are the official ones.
My memory of irrelevant things in comparison to major events is worrying.

I'm pretty sure its an offical one by Hasbro. It's Max's beyblade. Look here (http://www.toywiz.com/dracielbeyblade.html). Slight differences but its the same thing.

Nothing will ever replace the original Beyblade series with Tyson and Max.
They are trying to revive it like they did with Digimon, after Agumon and Tai left nobody watched it anymore. It would be like Pokemon without Ash, Team Rocket etc.
But still, so many memories of watching the show and beyblading like a pro.

Pokemon would have been so much better without Team Rocket (the trio at least), I found them too repetitive and aggravating :P.

Pokemon wouldn't have been Pokemon without Team Rocket. Their theme tune is legendary and James is a king. Team Rockets Rockin' was and still is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glQEUrm_0lw
