Hey there, I finally came back to habbox after a year if some of you remember me.
I was wondering what skills and resources I would need to get in to making a torrent site. I been hoping to make one ever since I first torrented :D.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Jake.

personally i wouldn't. look at tpb etc, you'll get done.
A good lawyer.
A server in a country where copyright laws don't apply, html, php, css (the main website languages I guess).
Not sure how you would go about the tracker, however, the website bit wouldn't be hard.

Well, state the obvious... it doesnt matter where your server are, if they can find them, they will have them. But I guess having offshore in netherlands or something would help...
Tracker would be hard but website not too hard... just basic coding skills :)

Have fun: http://erdgeist.org/arts/software/opentracker/
You'll need Mac OSX or a *Nix distro though. I doubt your skill set is high enough to run a torrent tracker anyway since you can't spend 3 minutes of your life searching for torrent tracker software.
