Auto Image Resizing thing

Is there a way to make it so that it only reshapes images that are bigger then 800px x 600px. Most screens are this size anyway so it only makes sense. maybe a little less cus of the padding but images like these:

just look a bit ugly and there is no need. its not necessary, but it just makes the forum look ugly :P

Not all users browse full screen or with a large window. I certainly don't.

I just keep mine at default size, most things that are bigger than my screen are obviously meant to be viewed at that scale anyway so I just have to hope no-one starts posting that massive world image that was going around a couple of years ago :P if that image you've posted gets shrunk though that does seem rather small, that's not even as big as sig pics can be

no but thats the fault of that user. It should at least be 700x300 since thats the size of the biggest signatures#

EDIT: yeh i got that from a thread, im not sure what size images are that resize? anyone care to enlighten me?

Oh I agree that there doesn't seem to be a logical reason for images to be resized to smaller than the max signature width.
