Overclocking from within windows

Basically I have a packard bell computer with all the fun stuff in the bios disabled because they're no fun. This means I can't overclock and I have a water cooling thing which seems kinda pointless to me! I don't wanna faff around with re-flashing the bios, is there a program that lets me overclock from within windows or even from a linux live cd?

If the BIOS doesn't support it or is locked out, then you will be locked out from overclocking within Windows also.

If you still wanna try it, look for a program called SetFSB

You can do it in Windows from a Locked BIOS, but it's not fantastic I must say.

Oh God, not an Packard Bell iPower? We've got one downstairs and the best option before using it is to reinstall the computer to save you from the heartache of pointless Packard Bell restrictions :P

By reinstall the computer do you mean get a new one? :P

That sounds familiar, it takes it back to factory settings, but for some reason performs better than the first time you use it (if that makes sense :P). Worked on the iPower here, and worked even better when 7 was chucked onto it. But that doesn't really answer the whole Overclocking question.

Yeah the computer isn't exactly performing badly I just wanna make it better :P Reinstalling windows doesn't unlock the options in the bios for me though.
