lol well no one bothered about it i know few people have tried it but didnt think there would be enough for a thread. but you seen the movie and enjoyed it so heres hoping you give more of it a try.

Just from your questions the style is what makes it good and unique well did untill Fairy Tail. What do you mean by the subject matter? Zoro is awesome isnt he ^^. You liked the new Opening O.O and that was an awesome moment. they did a scene like that in th series recently well earlier in the year for a dramatic punch.

5. Do you watch/Read Naruto or Bleach? - Dropped Naruto, About to drop the manga. Havent read the Bleach manga and and anime havent seen in ages and only got to 70ish eps.

Awesome seeing this, you have series like bleach. where the sneak into soul society and hide away etc and you have this where they break in and stand right infront of them and declare war. the scenes gets more awesome but happens at diffrent parts so 2 links

By subject matter I meant the story and the subjects within. The subject matter in One Piece is the pirates and the forming of a crew and searching for the treasure, while Bleach is about undead Soul Reapers who kill ghosts and release their souls into a parallel world with many magical characters and objects. Plus as it progresses it takes on a sort of rescue mission angle which I am fairly fond of, although it has gotten repetitive in recent times. I'm not saying the subject matter is bad in One Piece by the way, I think I just prefer what Bleach has given me. However it is of course too early to compare the two since I haven't seen much of One Piece.

Zoro is awesome because hes just like every other character Kazuya Nakai voices, haha. Luffy's personality is also really hard not to like.

I saw a clip on YouTube that showed Luffy beating the crap out of Crocodile. Unfortunately it was a major spoiler. :P

Out of all the One Piece movies, which three are your favourites by the way? In order if you can. :D

- Best Selling Manga Ever, This table is slightly out dated now since it came out last year but its sold something like 188m last time there was an announcement. Table in spoiler according to this at the time you had to put Naruto and Bleach sales together to get close to One Piece sales.

Do it. i wanted to rewatch it so my excuse to do so.

Jord watched a bunch of it dunno if ever carried it on and paul dropped it cos of the animation after 7 eps it was =/ have to keep in mind this was out in 1997 not 2000+ like naru-bleach. still looked awesome and keeps getting better.

Also there is a recap ova out tommoz. will have to wait for it to get subbed tho. covers everything up to current arc if u wanna watch that 1st to give you an idea but id suggest just watching all the eps.

As I stated before, I wasn't too fond of the character design but it seems to have grown on me. Probably because I've seen a bunch of epic fanarts and my friend is always showing me funny screen caps from episodes hes just watched.

I have a question though; are the fillers worth watching? I don't really want to waste my time with them if they aren't any good. Also, how much of the 400+ episodes would you say are fillers and can be skipped?

nah you will i was the sort of person who saw the 4kids commercial and was like this sucks. when i started college i was told about about it and i tried it. didnt take me long to catch up been a fan for 4-5 years now.

The last episode of Gintama will be broadcast in 8 days. I'm going to start watching One Piece in a minute though. I'm watching it in nice divx quality on stagevu because I hate normal streaming and there are too many episodes to download. Told you I'd start it eventually. ;)

Like ive said before it gets really good at the arlong arc but you may start to like it beforehand but the series really starts when they enter the grandline.

also Movie can be watched at any time apart from 8+9

klkl just a little thing but pandaman is hidden in every episode. so its liek a wheres wally while you watch aswell. Hes in the opening.

Loguetown with some fillers there good tho and the usopp one is sort of canon. oda wrote the story to his but didnt put it in the manga.
You get the loguetown fillers quite alot just filler bits at the end of main arcs etc but there related to the town and stuff which makes them enjoyable.

After that you have Apis fillers. can skip if you want most people tend to dislike it. And after that you have them going into the GL

SH's got to the red line which is the half way point in the grand line and the current arc is happening now.

And even if the manga finished in say 5 years. Toei would do a DBGT no doubt because OP is the cash cow in japan like DB was. the only thing is the OP fillers will actually be good since they can work. Lots of filler islands. i can see toei doing that anyway. fillers for a bit before doing the ending.

Can't see them making a seperate series.. but hopefully the continue to make the movies.

the manga and anime are pretty close but toei are clever. while naruto for example may cover 2-3 chapters worth some episodes toei sometimes only cover half a chapter or 1 chapter. so they like to drag some thigns out. but not in a bad way they expand on scenes etc so if someone is mentioned in the manga sometimes they will animate it to make up time. Also they add in decent fillers and canon fillers ( cover storys )

Also shh choppers bounty is spoiler. all the strawhats arent really spoiler since obv ive had sigs and stuff but bountys are D: dont ruin OP for other people.

I'll see when i decide to pick up the manga, so not gonna say anything since i havent seen it. But if i recal people have moaned about him for ages or did for ages. And i remember checking a latest volume and seeing no talking, hardly any drawings full pages with just text stuff like that.

Compared to oda who was drawing mayb 3-4 double spreads each week full of detail. dont want to sound like a fanboy but also don;t want to post a picture of the current arc since youve started OP so dont wanna spoil you. But im almost certain by the time you reach the current arc "which finished last week" you'll think its better than Bleach atleast.

Bleach doesn't tend to have much dialogue anyway.

Also, what are you trying to prove by pointing out that Oda does multiple double page spreads full of detail each week? Kubo also does a lot of double page spreads and his art is very detailed as well. Besides, just because an artist does double page spreads doesn't make them any better than they already are. Some series don't require double page spreads, such as Gintama. There are over 300 chapters of Gintama now and Sorachi has never drawn a double page spread, simply because its not his style.

- double spread comment is my opinion. Feel when they are used for finishing blows makes them awesome but the latest arc had them just to show the ammount of stuff that was happening. Personal prefrence.

Naruto is Garbage. I pity him xD my friends a Narutard 3 of them infact. There the ones missing out on the epicness that is One Piece. tho 1 of them has watched op and liked it for a bit.

1. Pirates > Ninjas
2. Series should be called Sasuke for the amount of attention the little emo git gets.
3. Pointless deaths. Kishi always kills people just to move the story on. Bring me to my next point.
4. Jiraiya - Killed my fave character, ass.
5. Fillers. Naruto fillers where horrible, and the shippuuden ones suck and drag on for weeks.
6. Naruto kills Pein by boring him to death.
7. The "twists" aren't twists, there boring, dull and predictable. Tobi is Madara, 4th is Naruto's dad. He had 10 years. he could have made something ALOT better in that time.
8. All the other characters are built up during the chunnin exam just to be neglected alot in shippuuden.
9. Orchimaru had a weird obsession for Young boys.

Naoto Takenaka provided Shiki's voice!? It didn't sound like him at all! Such talent. He is one of my favourite on-screen Japanese actors. He has starred in some of the best Japanese films and even alongside Jackie Chan in Derek Yee's 2009 blockbuster Shinjuku Incident. The fact that he voiced Shiki makes him even more legendary.

And ace and Whitebeard D: Fanfare was a good song aswell oda asked them to do theme theme which i think turned out well.
