I left this place a while back simply due to the fact i couldn't really be bothered with a community that ignored its own rules and where staff got to sit above them.

I somehow got the impression this place had changed, maybe its just nvr's absence that's reversed this, ether way it appears it didnt. I'm not really interested in contributing to a community that will stick by and stand up for the enforcement of non existent rules long after it has become clear they were wrong. Staff should be held to higher accountability not lower and the final admission of laziness as excuse for not reversing the action, helped make up my mind.

+ the policy of closeing threads and singing lala has resurfaced, which is a big step back from nvrs old, actually listen and make a judgement based on the facts idea, which lead ether to a change of view on the disputer's side where he proved them wrong, or him changing his view when he saw that they were right.

Regardless for the time being i'm going to give this place a miss. The forum changes a lot so i expect it will be a pretty different place when i next return.

Thanks to the great folks i've communicated, augured and discussed things with in my few months back here, if you ever wanna get hold of me my MSN is bag [a] thybag.co.uk + there's the habbox google wave i'm in :)

To those of you glad to see me go, guess your in luck :$

The forum appears to have had its up, and now appears to be heading back in the good old downwards direction it loves so much. Maybe when nvr returns it'll pick up again, maybe someone totally new will appear. But I'll find all that out when i'm back. For now though

Bye :D

unfortunate youre leaving but its a bit of a stupid reason, basically over an avatar and a warning. It was 10px less in height and width, hardly a lot. Anyway, good luck in the future and your endeavours :)

Sad to see you go again, Mentor. Been here since I can remember joining back in 2004 lol. You've contributed a lot over the years so thanks and I do hope you decide to come back.

Thanks for the goodbyes. Much appreciated.

I'll admit i'm a right grumpy git when it comes to my principles, but my times limited and valuable so i think the least i should expect if i'm doing work for them for free is that i'm treated fairly and within the rules. Since this is not the case, i cannot justify the time. I'll happily help out a community i like, but this seems at the moment, not to be such a community.

Bye for real this time

I got into trouble all the time when I was staff and hardly do at all as non-staff :'(.

I think abstaining over a technicality is a little extreme (I do kind of take you side in the matter, but that is not this discussion).

Well, it's sad to see you go but I'm sure you'll be back soon enough. It's your decision to go and if that's what you want to do then do it (though by the sounds of your last post you have).

Goodbye.

it is sad to see you leave, as I think in the relatively short time I have been here, you have contributed a lot, I agree with the reasons you have given, but thoroughly hope you reconsider the move.

Urgh, does that mean I'm going to be a Habbox Newsbot again? :( Was a bit rude that you are/were making a new Rare Value panel, and they treat you like dirt :P Just don't give it to them, or charge them a lot seeing as it is alot of hard work to make a trade values panel not knowing what you're on about, especially for free and when you've got a job and uni to compete with :/

The main reason for this is because they do that snotty little PM, followed by chucking imaginary rules at you. Sure, the T&Cs say they can edit/remove things from your profile, but giving no reason is as saying "We're too dumb to think of a reason, we'll just do it because we can." It's awfully anti-social too :/

Bring back Mizki, JackHb and Seacat I say! At least they knew how to have fun, and didn't take a Habbox job so seriously that they put on this air of fake superiority and over do it with formalities and systems. Management PMs are awful, I'm a human being, talk to me like one. You're on a fansite forum, you want to be talked to by a human being and on the same level. Don't shuve a carrot so far up the trump that you can barely take a joke or talk to people :/ It's nice seeing on ClubHabbo threads in announcements called "The Forum Have Spoken!" When the same happens here, you get threads that make it appear the forum are stupid, and that the management are all powerful and have decided these decisions.

Speaking of which, the only management that tend to act like people are people like Garion, hopefully he won't have his horrifically gorgeous brain zapped by the miserable police.

I'm sure some moderators are aware of the responses I give to their PMs, they usually mention something about formalities.

Peace out. I just disassociate myself with all the staff - saves me having to worry about everything. I haven't looked at the staff list in a good few months, I'm dreading to see some of the names up there.

Ugh.

Wow, I can't believe you're leaving though mentor, I remember clicking some thybag link in your sig years ago. Such a shame, but good luck. The reason is justified - not that it needs to be anyway,

I am extremely disappointed to see you leave under circumstances that I believe could of been resolved more amicably.

I hope you come back soon Mentor, I for one will miss reading your very intelligent posts.

It's an awful shame to see you go, especially over something so trivial! I for one wish I would have been more involved with the situation, I would have tried to come to a more harmonious decision - certainly not one that resulted in your decision to leave. Please do consider returning in the future, things are changing at Habbox. Some of it is happening (too) slowly, but we will get there.
