Never been to a major festival. I want to go to one next year. Recommendations? What ones have you been to? Experiences? Ones to avoid? You get what I mean, so yeah. :)

Only been to Glastonbury and don't want to go to any other except Glasto again. Especially next year. Although my mates are talking about the Edinburgh festival which is a lot cheaper and apparently includes accommodation and stuff.
Glasto was one of the best times of my life though.

It's Glastonbury's 40th anniversary so I wouldn't use last year's line-ups a reliable guide (even though Glasto 09 was immense). The only thing is we have to see if some more tickets go on sale in a couple of months.

Download or Sonisphere will be incredible if your into that kinda of music. I'm hitting both next year for the first time :D
I went to V this year and it was really good, even though it werent my kind of music. I'd definately recommend it.

That's a rumour at best and either way, they are one of MANY artists that will be there so I wouldn't be too hasty to make a judgement just yet :P.

reading has a pretty good atmosphere. blink-182 are almost certainly headlining this year too if you dig that.
Download or Sonisphere if you're into metal, hopefully I'll be going to Sonisphere this year, it's held like right next to where I live. xD

t in the park usually has a good line-up but i don't think i could sleep in a field full of scottish people for half a week.
