The year 2009 is coming to an end, already. So what was your best song of 2009?

Mine has to be Mini Viva - I wish, it's a great song. Or another one is Alicia Keys doesn't mean anything and Saturdays Ego.

Oh god no, she has the most horrible voice I've ever heard, and this cover is screechy, annoying and her voice completely ruins it.... I turn it down/off whenever it comes on on the radio :eusa_wall

Aha, I think Florence is a love/hate thing. But she is definitely one of this years biggest break through artists. Her cover is way better than Candi Station version - that one does my head in xD

Am I right in saying that this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFgbtb_qozM) is the real original? Because I think there's a couple of club mixes of it too.

I think Lady gaga, a lot of her songs were some of my favourites this year and I really like show me love by robin s, it was released ages ago but there was a remix this year that I really loved. I don't really have like a major favourite really.

Yeah it is. No Ones First And Your Next is a mint EP. 'King Rat' and 'I've Got It All (Most)" are my other favourites (though I didn't list them because they've been out for a few years). Really wish Modest Mouse would tour here (or even Australia) sometime, would be awesome to see them live.

modest mouse is fantastic live, i saw them on their WWDBTSES tour like 2 years ago, i took a few pictures, this is how close i was to issac brock (i shouted "youre the [expletive] man, issac!" and he nodded at me haha)

i can't get into that whole 'twee' scene of los camp/johnny foreigner etc. i love a couple songs of LC!'s debut (death to.. and you! me! dancing!) but i don't really get the hype.
