Hi all, I've decided to help people more quickly with this.

BASIC TIPS:

1) Calm down before you start acting, as you may do something stupid
2) Dont try to hide or runaway from your problem, get it sorted
3) Stay strong, and try not to burst into tears, especialy in public.

HOW TO COPE WITH...

Being Shy

Scenario: You love a Girl, but are afraid to say anything

Okay, this is a common one, and I suffer from it aswell, but heres some advice. Sych yourself up evrytime you see her, or if you are really shy (me), everytime she is online. Eventually, you will just blurt it out. Ignore everyone elses opinions (unless they are clearly right. I mean really really clearly right), and follow your heart.

BEING PICKED ON BECAUSE OF WHO YOU LOVE

Scenario: You have just told someone that you love him. Now everyone is picking on you because he has told everyone what you said.

This is quiet easy to counteract. Whenever some laughs at you or teases you, repeat the following comeback: So what? EG:
Idiot: Hahaha! You love Emily!
YOU: So what?
IDIOT: Oh, urmm...
The thing most likely to happen is the person teasing you will not be able to think why he/she is doing it, and will back down. If they persist, tell them it is not your fault, sometimes love just, happens.

LOVING MORE THAN ONE PERSON

Scenario: You are madly in love with a girl in your class. But then, one day, a new girl walks in. Love at first sight!

First of all, never trust love at first sight. Afterall, it collides heavily with the saying 'Never judge a book by its cover', which is perfectly true. Now im not saying everyone considered 'hot' or 'fit' are complete ******s, but what I am saying is take a look into their personality first. Get to know both of them, in conversations, on MSN, by email, and hey, even on Habbo! The thing most likely to happen now is you will see something you didnt notice first in one, or both, of the girls. It might be a good thing, or terrible secret.

BEING DUMPED/REJECTED

Scenario: You have been going out with a guy for several months. he suddenly loses interest in you, and breaks up with you.

Basically, STAY COOL! Calm down, by doing something you enjoy. After you are cool, take a look back, and see what you done wrong, if anything. You might learn something for the future. Once you have done that, dont spend the rest of your life moping around, get out there again (if your ready, that is.). After all, there are plenty more fish in the sea :D

DO NOT...

Blame anyone.
Direct hate.
Pretend to be okay.

DO...

Ask yourself, How would you feel intheir position?

IF NONE OF THE ABOVE WORK:
Parents are there for you. Dont be afraid of them, they will never betray you. They will help you all they can. I also suggest asking them not to tell anyone, as my parents in particular start phoning up others parents complaining and the likes.

If your problem is'nt up here, post it down below, and I will add it to the list, as well as the resolution.

Good Luck Everyone!

Wrong about the dumping part, HATE THAT ******* TILL THE WORLD ENDS.

Dumping you means he/she thinks he/she deserves better than you.

Just remember kids, no one is better than you.

Act first, overthinking will make you back out
If it goes badly, run away
Last one is probably a good idea though

Idiot: Hahaha! You love Emily!
YOU: So what?

Them: she's fat and literally stinks of dead flesh
You: Ohh...

There is such a thing as being polyamorous (c'est moi, pour examplé) whereby it is entirely possible to have strong feelings for more than one person at the same time. I know this thread seems more about classroom romance than actual love but the point remains the same - you don't have to just pick one because society has molded you to think that way. As long as everyone involved knows the score it can work just fine

EG:
Guy with eyes: Hahaha! You love Emily!
YOU: So what?
Guy with eyes: Dude, she's got that big mole above her lip and she stinks like a public toilet seat.
YOU: Yeah but I lo... I guess you're right but!- Oh, ergh... I better break it off.

I love your intentions dude but some of the advice isn't as effective as some as I've seen, well done for trying though. Dear Dierdre ftw lol.
